Committee — OUGHT TO PASS
The academic research and improvement performance data analyst shall collect and analyze statewide assessment data to: 1) measure student progress, 2) evaluate program and instructional effectiveness, 3) guide curriculum and instruction development, 4) influence resource allocations and 5) promote accountability. The position shall assist districts in the effective use of data to drive and improve education decision-making. The analyst shall also use data driven decision making to: collect and analyze data, report, and utilize the information for school improvement. This will assist districts and the department to make recommendations for improvement. Vote 17-0.
