Further study of this bill is needed to address the following: (1) establishing SWEPT as a true statewide education property tax; (2) equalization of statewide education property tax levied at a uniform rate; (3) establishing a committee to study the low- and moderate- homeowners tax relief program; (4) establishing a tax relief program for low- and moderate-income homeowners. Vote 16-1.
