Where it stands
House: INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
Every floor vote on this bill was a voice or division vote, so there is no record of how individual legislators voted.
A bill goes on the consent calendar when the committee vote was unanimous or nearly so, and any members who dissented did not object to placing it there. It then passes without floor debate. Ten members may file a petition to pull a bill off the consent calendar and have it debated and voted on separately.

Committee — INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
This bill directs the DOT to ‘take steps’ to increase frequency of service for the Boston Express, one of the two bus companies that provides service from New Hampshire to Boston. The bill does not reference the other bus company that provides this service. The bill does not direct what steps are to be taken or what expansion is to be legislated. Further, the bill carries a $1,058,500 fiscal note and does not address the company that services the Seacoast area of the state. Finally, the private companies which provide these services to the state are already expanding their services based on the market needs, and the committee believes that should the need increase, that the companies will continue to expand their services without further state funding. Vote 15-0.
