The language in this bill is identical to the language in HB 529 (2025), as amended, allowing the delivery and take-out of drinks containing liquor to holders of the restaurant delivery license. There is no further need for this bill, since the language already exists in HB 529. HB 529 passed the House with amendment on January 7, 2026 and has been introduced to the Senate and referred to the Senate Commerce Committee. Vote 16-0.
