Committee — INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
This bill proposes a committee to develop comprehensive civics curricula, materials, educator trainings, and more. As a result of 2023 legislation, this was already accomplished by the Commission on New Hampshire Civics which was tasked with developing curriculum exploring the history, heritage, and principles of the New Hampshire Constitution and the government it established. The committee agrees that standards should be updated prior to any further work on civics curriculum. Vote 18-0.
