The committee agrees unanimously that this bill is unneeded. The statute providing leave for these child birth related medical appointments is new as of 2025. Testimony indicated that stakeholders carefully crafted the language of the bill, and the committee agrees that the statute should be allowed to operate for a period of time before any adjustments to the language be considered. Vote 20-0.
