Committee — OUGHT TO PASS WITH AMENDMENT

Rep. Allison Knab

This bill was requested by the Town of Windsor in order to open a section of road in their town for off-highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) use. An amendment to the bill ensured there would be a public hearing and abutters would be notified before this decision was made. It also permits the town select board to reverse the allowable use after a public hearing, thereby ensuring it would not require further legislation. Vote 15-0.
