This bill would establish a committee to study how it would be best accomplished to raise awareness of the existing immunity law involving drug overdoses. Com mittee research found that there are already at least two commissions in statute involved with drug overdose, addiction, treatment, and prevention. The majority of the committee believes that, in the interest of time and efficiency, the sponsors of this legislation should bring the concerns of raising awareness of the immunity law involving drug overdoses to these already established commissions that meet regularly. Vote 10--1.
