The Story

On May 2, 2024 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a roll call 200–154. On May 2, 2024 the House failed “Reconsider Interim Study” on a division vote 118–233, on a motion by Rep. Lucy Weber. The committee held a work session on October 3, 2024. The committee met in executive session on October 3, 2024 to vote on its recommendation. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Not Recommended for Future Legislation”, by a vote of 20 to 0.
