The Story

The committee met in executive session on March 13, 2023 to vote on its recommendation. The committee recommended that the House make no recommendation. On March 22, 2023 the House adopted “Lay HB538 on Table” on a roll call 296–83, on a motion by Rep. Cordelli. The bill died on the table when the session ended on October 26, 2023, having been set aside and never taken back up.
