A committee of conference met on June 19, 2023 to try to settle the differences between the two chambers' versions of the bill. On June 29, 2023 the Senate adopted the conference report (2023-2196c) on a roll call 15–9. On June 29, 2023 the House adopted the conference report (2023-2196c) on a division vote 187–185.
