The committee's amendment (2022-1807s) was adopted on a roll call 17–7 on May 5, 2022, changing the text of the bill. A floor amendment (2022-1924s), offered by Sen. Giuda, was rejected on a roll call 10–14 on May 5, 2022. On May 5, 2022 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. On May 5, 2022 the House adopted “House Non-Concurs with Senate Amendment 2022-1807s and Requests CofC (Reps. Lang, Khan, Roy, Egan)” on a voice vote. On May 12, 2022 the Senate adopted “Accedes to House Request for Committee of Conference” on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Kevin Avard.
