The Story
It was introduced on January 6, 2021 and referred to the Senate Election Law and Municipal Affairs committee. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On March 18, 2021 the Senate voted to lay it on the table, on a motion by Sen. James Gray. On April 1, 2021 the Senate failed “Remove From Table, RC 10Y-14N”, on a motion by Sen. Perkins Kwoka. The bill died on the table under Senate Rule 3-23 at adjournment on June 24, 2021, having been set aside and never taken back up.
