SB 152-FN-A (2021)

relative to affordable housing program funding.

  • Status: Killed
  • Term: 2021-2022
  • House committee: Finance
  • Senate committee: Health and Human Services
  • Subject: Housing

The Story

It was introduced on February 4, 2021 and referred to the Senate Health and Human Services committee. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2021-0450s). The committee's amendment (2021-0450s) was adopted on a roll call 24–0 on March 4, 2021, changing the text of the bill. On March 4, 2021 the Senate voted to pass it with changes and ordered it to a third reading. It crossed to the House and was referred to the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Finance committee instead. The committee held a work session on May 10, 2021. The committee voted unanimously, 20–0, to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the regular calendar. On June 3, 2021 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
