HB 62-FN (2021)

relative to continued in-network access to certain health care providers.

  • Status: Died on the table
  • Term: 2021-2022
  • House committee: Commerce and Consumer Affairs
  • Subject: Insurance

The Story

It was introduced on January 6, 2021 and referred to the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee. The committee met in executive session on February 10, 2021 to vote on its recommendation. The majority recommended that the House kill it, and the minority recommended that the House pass it with changes (amendment 2021-0067h), by a vote of 10–9. The report was placed on the regular calendar. On April 9, 2021 the House voted to lay it on the table on a division vote 193–158, on a motion by Rep. John Hunt. The bill died on the table when the session ended on January 5, 2022, having been set aside and never taken back up.
