It crossed to the Senate on March 4, 2021 and was referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. Bill Gannon, was adopted on a roll call 24–0 on April 22, 2021, changing the text of the bill. On April 22, 2021 the Senate voted to pass it with changes and ordered it to a third reading. On June 10, 2021 the House adopted “House Concurs with Senate Amendment 2021-1165s” on a voice vote, on a motion by Rep. Abbas.
