relative to state fees, funds, revenues and expenditures.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 2019-2020
  • Subject: State Government
  • Chapter law: 346

The Story

On September 25, 2019 the House adopted “Suspend House Rule to allow Introduction and Consideration (Reps. Wallner, Hinch)” on a roll call 334–25. On September 25, 2019 the House voted to pass it on a roll call 316–40. On September 25, 2019 the Senate adopted “suspend all rules necessary to permit the consideration of HB 4 at the present time and if adopted, to permit third reading and final passage in the early session, 2/3 necessary” on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Feltes. On September 25, 2019 the Senate voted to pass it and ordered it to a third reading. An enrolled bill amendment (2019-2717e) was adopted on a voice vote on September 25, 2019. These correct technical errors found after passage. The bill was enrolled on September 25, 2019 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2019-2717) was adopted on a voice vote to correct technical errors found after passage. The governor signed it on September 26, 2019, making it Chapter 346 of the session laws.
