SB 369-FN (2018)

relative to the publication of the rulemaking register.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 2017-2018
  • House committee: Legislative Administration
  • Senate committee: Executive Departments and Administration
  • Subject: Miscellaneous
  • Chapter law: 217

The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 2018 and referred to the Senate Executive Departments and Administration committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 10, 2018. The committee voted unanimously, 5–0, to recommend that the Senate pass it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 18, 2018 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. It crossed to the House on March 7, 2018 and was referred to the House Legislative Administration committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 10, 2018. The committee met in executive session on April 10, 2018 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 13–0, to recommend that the House pass it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On April 26, 2018 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. The bill was enrolled on May 10, 2018 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2018-1934e) was adopted on a voice vote to correct technical errors found after passage. The governor signed it on June 8, 2018, making it Chapter 217 of the session laws.
