The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 2018 and referred to the House Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 11, 2018. It crossed to the Senate on March 8, 2018 and was referred to the Senate Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 20, 2018. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On April 5, 2018 the Senate rejected a motion to lay it on the table, on a motion by Sen. Soucy. On April 5, 2018 the Senate voted to pass it and ordered it to a third reading.
