- Status: Died on the table
- Term: 2017-2018
- House committee: Children and Family Law

The Story
It was introduced on January 4, 2017 and referred to the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Children and Family Law committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on February 21, 2017. The committee met in executive session on February 28, 2017 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 12–0, to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 9, 2017 the House voted to lay it on the table on a voice vote, on a motion by Rep. Kimberly Rice.
