The Story
It was introduced on January 8, 2015 and referred to the Senate Commerce committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 10, 2015. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2015-1065s). On March 26, 2015 the Senate voted to send it back to committee on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Prescott. The committee recommended that the Senate study it after the session ends. On January 6, 2016 the Senate adopted “Refer to Interim Study” on a voice vote.
