The Story

It was introduced on January 29, 2015 and referred to the Senate Ways and Means committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 19, 2015. On March 12, 2015 the Senate adopted the motion that it ought to pass with an amendment on a voice vote, but its referral to the Finance committee was left pending. On March 12, 2015 the Senate voted to lay it on the table on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Bradley. The bill died on the table under Senate Rule 3-23 at adjournment on September 16, 2015, having been set aside and never taken back up.
