HB 333 (2015)

establishing a process for review and reporting of dedicated funds.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 2015-2016
  • House committee: Finance
  • Senate committee: Finance
  • Subject: State Government
  • Chapter law: 192

The Story

It was introduced on January 8, 2015 and referred to the House Finance committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 29, 2015. The committee held a work session on February 3, 2015. The committee met in executive session on February 5, 2015 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted 24–1 to recommend that the House pass it with changes (amendment 2015-0185h), and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The committee's amendment (0185h) was adopted on a voice vote on February 11, 2015, changing the text of the bill. On February 11, 2015 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 12, 2015 and was referred to the Senate Finance committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 31, 2015. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2015-1404s). The committee's amendment (1404s) was adopted on a voice vote on April 30, 2015, changing the text of the bill. On April 30, 2015 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. On June 3, 2015 the House adopted “House Concurs with Senate Amendment #1404s (Rep Kurk)” on a voice vote. An enrolled bill amendment (2120e) was adopted on a voice vote on June 11, 2015. These correct technical errors found after passage. The bill was enrolled on June 24, 2015 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2015-2120EBA) was adopted on a voice vote to correct technical errors found after passage. The governor signed it on July 6, 2015, making it Chapter 192 of the session laws. It took effect on September 4, 2015.
