relative to the telecommunications planning and development advisory committee.
- Status: Signed into law
- Term: 2015-2016
- House committee: Science, Technology and Energy
- Senate committee: Energy and Natural Resources

The Story
It was introduced on January 8, 2015 and referred to the House Science, Technology and Energy committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 21, 2015. The committee met in executive session on February 4, 2015 to vote on its recommendation. The majority recommended that the House pass it, and the minority recommended that the House kill it, by a vote of 12–9. The report was placed on the regular calendar. On February 11, 2015 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 12, 2015 and was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 1, 2015. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2015-1345s). The committee's amendment (1345s) was adopted on a voice vote on April 30, 2015, changing the text of the bill. On April 30, 2015 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. On June 3, 2015 the House adopted “House Concurs with Senate Amendment #1345s (Rep Introne)” on a voice vote. An enrolled bill amendment (2129e) was adopted on a voice vote on June 11, 2015. These correct technical errors found after passage. The bill was enrolled on June 24, 2015 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2015-2129EBA) was adopted on a voice vote to correct technical errors found after passage. The governor signed it on July 6, 2015, making it Chapter 189 of the session laws. It took effect on July 6, 2015.
