The Story
It was introduced on January 8, 2014 and referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 28, 2014. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2014-0561s). The committee's amendment (0561s) was adopted on a voice vote on February 19, 2014, changing the text of the bill. On February 19, 2014 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote, then referred it on to the Senate Finance committee. The committee recommended that the Senate study it after the session ends. On March 27, 2014 the Senate adopted “Refer to Interim Study” on a voice vote.
