The committee's amendment (2250h) was adopted on a voice vote on January 29, 2014, changing the text of the bill. A floor amendment (2014-0012h) was rejected on a division vote 120–216 on January 29, 2014. On January 29, 2014 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. Wallner moved to Non-Concur with Senate AM and request C of C” on a voice vote. On May 22, 2014 the Senate adopted “Accedes to House Request for Committee of Conference” on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Sharon Carson. A committee of conference met on May 27, 2014 to try to settle the differences between the two chambers' versions of the bill. The Senate adopted the conference report (1953c) on a voice vote. The House adopted the conference report (1953c) on a division vote 310–28. The bill was enrolled on June 18, 2014 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor.
