The committee's amendment (0466h) was adopted on a voice vote on February 19, 2014, changing the text of the bill. On February 19, 2014 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 13, 2014 and was referred to the Senate Commerce committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 25, 2014. The committee voted unanimously, 5–0, to recommend that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2014-1302s), and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The bill was taken off the consent calendar on April 24, 2014. The committee's amendment (1302s) was adopted on a voice vote on April 24, 2014, changing the text of the bill. A floor amendment (2014-1498s), offered by Sen. Bradley, was adopted on a voice vote on April 24, 2014, changing the text of the bill. On April 24, 2014 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. On May 14, 2014 the House adopted “Non-Concur with Senate Amendment #1302s (Rep A. White)” on a voice vote.
