relative to wind-powered renewable energy facilities.
- Status: Died on the table
- Term: 2013-2014
- Senate committee: Energy and Natural Resources
- Subject: Energy and Utilities
The Story
It was introduced on February 14, 2013 and referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 20, 2013. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes (amendment 2013-1074s). On March 28, 2013 the Senate adopted “Special Order SB 195 to end of Regular Calendar, Without Objection”. The committee's amendment (1074s) was adopted on a voice vote on March 28, 2013, changing the text of the bill. A floor amendment (2013-1167s), offered by Sen. Sanborn, was rejected on a roll call 12–12 on March 28, 2013. On March 28, 2013 the Senate voted to lay it on the table on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Bradley. The bill died on the table under Senate Rule 3-23 at adjournment, having been set aside and never taken back up.
