The Story

On March 14, 2013 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a roll call 16–8 and ordered it to a third reading. It crossed to the House on April 3, 2013 and was referred to a Joint Committee of Finance and Ways and Means. The committee held a public hearing on April 16, 2013. The committee held work sessions on April 22, 2013, April 23, 2013, April 25, 2013, April 30, 2013, May 1, 2013, May 2, 2013, May 7, 2013, May 8, 2013, May 9, 2013, May 13, 2013, May 14, 2013 and May 15, 2013. The committee met in executive session on May 15, 2013 to vote on its recommendation.
