The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 2013 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. On February 6, 2013 the House adopted “Vacated from Municipal and County Government” on a voice vote. On February 6, 2013 the bill was referred to the Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 12, 2013. The committee met in executive session on February 19, 2013 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted 15–2 to recommend that the House kill it. On March 6, 2013 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
