HB 367 (2013)

relative to the municipal bond bank reserve process.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 2013-2014
  • House committee: Commerce and Consumer Affairs
  • Senate committee: Public and Municipal Affairs
  • Subject: Miscellaneous
  • Chapter law: 107

The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 2013 and referred to the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 12, 2013. The committee met in executive session on February 26, 2013 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 17–0, to recommend that the House pass it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 13, 2013 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 21, 2013 and was referred to the Senate Public and Municipal Affairs committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 24, 2013. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On May 2, 2013 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. An enrolled bill amendment (1729e) was adopted on May 23, 2013. These correct technical errors found after passage. The bill was enrolled on May 30, 2013 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2013-1729e) was adopted to correct technical errors found after passage. The governor signed it on June 24, 2013, making it Chapter 107 of the session laws.
