The Story
It was introduced on February 3, 2011 and referred to the Senate Transportation committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 17, 2011. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On February 23, 2011 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote, then referred it on to the Senate Finance committee. The committee recommended that the Senate send it back to committee. On March 23, 2011 the Senate voted to send it back to committee on a voice vote. The committee recommended that the Senate study it after the session ends. On January 18, 2012 the Senate adopted “Refer to Interim Study” on a voice vote.
