establishing a committee to study the duties and responsibilities of fire wardens.
- Status: Killed
- Term: 2011-2012
- House committee: Municipal and County Government

The Story
It was introduced on January 6, 2011 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 10, 2011. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held work sessions on April 21, 2011 and April 28, 2011. The committee met in executive session on October 11, 2011 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 16–0, to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 4, 2012 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
