The committee's amendment (1006h) was adopted on a voice vote on March 7, 2012, changing the text of the bill. On March 7, 2012 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It was introduced on March 7, 2012 and referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. The committee held a public hearing on May 3, 2012. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it.
