The Story

The majority recommended that the House pass it, and the minority recommended that the House kill it, by a vote of 16–5. The report was placed on the regular calendar. On February 15, 2011 the House adopted “Special Order to Feb 16”. On February 16, 2011 the House voted to pass it on a roll call 285–78. On February 16, 2011 the House adopted “Lay on the Table (Rep Stepanek)” on a roll call 254–109. The bill died on the table when the session ended on January 4, 2012, having been set aside and never taken back up.
