SB 324 (2010)

relative to financial disclosures.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 2009-2010
  • House committee: Election Law
  • Senate committee: Election Law and Veterans' Affairs
  • Subject: Miscellaneous
  • Chapter law: 106

The Story

It was introduced on January 6, 2010 and referred to the Senate Election Law and Veterans' Affairs committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 19, 2010. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On January 21, 2010 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. It crossed to the House on February 17, 2010 and was referred to the House Election Law committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 30, 2010. The committee met in executive session on April 14, 2010 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 13–0, to recommend that the House pass it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On April 21, 2010 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. The bill was enrolled on May 5, 2010 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor. The governor signed it on May 26, 2010, making it Chapter 106 of the session laws.
