On March 3, 2010 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. On May 19, 2010 the Senate voted to reject the other chamber's changes on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Reynolds. On May 19, 2010 the House adopted “House Accedes to Request for Comm of Conf (Rep Hess)” on a voice vote. A committee of conference met on May 25, 2010 to try to settle the differences between the two chambers' versions of the bill. The bill was enrolled on June 2, 2010 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2428) was adopted to correct technical errors found after passage.
