The Story
It was introduced on January 6, 2010 and referred to the House Local and Regulated Revenues committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 19, 2010. The committee held work sessions on January 21, 2010, January 27, 2010 and February 4, 2010. The committee met in executive session on February 11, 2010 to vote on its recommendation. The committee voted unanimously, 17–0, to recommend that the House kill it. On March 3, 2010 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
