The bill was taken off the consent calendar on February 10, 2010. On February 10, 2010 the House adopted “Special Ordered to Regular Place in Feb 17 Consent Calendar”. The committee's amendment (0441h) was adopted on a voice vote on February 17, 2010, changing the text of the bill. On February 17, 2010 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 3, 2010 and was referred to the Senate Energy, Environment and Economic Development committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 25, 2010. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On May 5, 2010 the Senate voted to lay it on the table on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Odell. On May 13, 2010 the Senate adopted “Remove From Table” on a voice vote, on a motion by Sen. Fuller Clark. On May 13, 2010 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. The bill was enrolled on May 19, 2010 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor.
