The committee's amendment (0511h) was adopted on a voice vote on February 17, 2010, changing the text of the bill. On February 17, 2010 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 24, 2010 and was referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 21, 2010. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On April 28, 2010 the Senate voted to kill it on a voice vote.
