The committee's amendment (0783h) was adopted on a voice vote on March 24, 2009, changing the text of the bill. On March 24, 2009 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. On April 8, 2009 the Senate adopted “Sen. Cilley Concurs with House Amendment{0783h}” on a voice vote. The bill was enrolled on April 9, 2009 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor. The governor signed it on April 17, 2009, making it Chapter 13 of the session laws.
