On May 21, 2008 the House adopted “House Non-Concurs and Requests Committee of Conference (Reps Irwin & M.Smith)” on a voice vote. On May 21, 2008 the Senate adopted “Sen. Burling Accede to House Request For Committee of Conference” on a voice vote. A committee of conference met on May 27, 2008 and May 29, 2008 to try to settle the differences between the two chambers' versions of the bill. On June 4, 2008 the House adopted “Conference Committee Report #2074” on a division vote 197–89. An enrolled bill amendment (2163) was adopted on June 4, 2008. These correct technical errors found after passage.
