The committee recommended that the Senate send it back to committee. On June 7, 2007 the Senate rejected a motion to send it back to committee on a voice vote. A floor amendment (2055), offered by Sen. D'Allesandro, was adopted on a voice vote on June 7, 2007, changing the text of the bill. On June 7, 2007 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. The bill was enrolled on June 27, 2007 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor — and an enrolled bill amendment (2385) was adopted to correct technical errors found after passage.
