HB 670-FN-A (2006)

relative to the land and community heritage investment program.

  • Status: Killed
  • Term: 2005-2006
  • House committee: Municipal and County Government
  • Subject: Miscellaneous

The Story

It was introduced on January 26, 2005 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 16, 2005. The majority recommended that the House pass it with changes, and the minority recommended that the House kill it, by a vote of 15–1. The House referred the bill to the Finance committee. On March 30, 2005 the House adopted “Susp Rules for Report & Action Deadlines” on a voice vote. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held a work session on September 7, 2005. The committee voted 12–7 to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the regular calendar. On January 18, 2006 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
