HB 632-FN-LOCAL (2006)

creating an environmental policy for New Hampshire.

  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 2005-2006
  • House committee: Environment and Agriculture
  • Subject: Environment - Administration

The Story

It was introduced on January 26, 2005 and referred to the House Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 24, 2005. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held work sessions on October 26, 2005 and November 10, 2005. The committee voted 16–2 to recommend that the House study it after the session ends, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 4, 2006 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “REC FOR LEGIS IN 2007”, by a vote of 10 to 4. The committee held a work session on October 24, 2006.
