HB 473 (2006)
relative to the creation of screening panels for medical injury claims.
- Status: Killed
- Term: 2005-2006
- House committee: Judiciary
- Subject: Miscellaneous
The Story
It was introduced on January 26, 2005 and referred to the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Judiciary committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on March 15, 2005. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held a work session on September 27, 2005. The committee voted unanimously, 18–0, to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 4, 2006 the House voted to kill it.
