establishing a commission to recodify laws relating to financial contributions and disclosures and conflicts of interest and making an appropriation therefor.
- Status: Killed
- Term: 2005-2006
- House committee: Election Law
- Subject: Miscellaneous
The Story
It was introduced on January 26, 2005 and referred to the House Legislative Administration committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Election Law committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on March 10, 2005. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee voted 10–4 to recommend that the House kill it, and the report was placed on the regular calendar. On January 18, 2006 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
