  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 2005-2006
  • House committee: Legislative Administration
  • Subject: Constitutional Amendments

The Story

It was introduced on January 26, 2005 and referred to the House Legislative Administration committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 15, 2005. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held a work session on November 9, 2005. The committee voted 7–2 to recommend that the House study it after the session ends, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 4, 2006 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee held a work session on October 4, 2006. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “NOT REC FOR LEGIS”, by a vote of 8 to 0.
