HB 835-FN (2004)

relative to federal highway grant anticipation bonds.

  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 2003-2004
  • House committee: Public Works and Highways
  • Subject: Transportation and Highways

The Story

It was introduced on January 30, 2003 and referred to the House Public Works and Highways committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 3, 2003. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held work sessions on June 4, 2003, September 17, 2003, October 8, 2003, November 5, 2003, November 13, 2003 and November 20, 2003. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends by a vote of 13–3, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 7, 2004 the House voted to study it after the session ends. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “REC FOR LEGIS IN 2005”, by a vote of 15 to 2.
