HB 775 (2004)
establishing a New Hampshire presidential primary advisory commission.
- Status: Referred for interim study
- Term: 2003-2004
- House committee: Election Law
- Subject: Elections
The Story
It was introduced on January 30, 2003 and referred to the House Election Law committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 11, 2003. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held work sessions on May 21, 2003, September 10, 2003 and October 1, 2003. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends unanimously, 13–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 7, 2004 the House voted to study it after the session ends. The committee held a work session on October 13, 2004. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “REC FOR LEGIS IN 2005”, by a vote of 11 to 0.
